Watchdog wants TikTok, Telegram, Zoom tagged as law-breakers

MOSCOW, Aug 19 (PRIME) -- The Russian communications service has obliged search systems to mark TikTok, Telegram, Zoom, Discord, and Pinterest as law violators, the authority said on Friday in a statement.

The companies ignore the order to delete banned information and the main obligations set by the federal law on the activities of foreign entities in the Internet, the watchdog said.

“The information measures will be valid until the foreign companies eliminate violations of the Russian law fully,” the authority added.
